Unit / Setting
- Level I trauma center
- Specializes in total joints, neuro spine, neuro crani's, open heart, lung and heart transplants, DaVinci, plastics, and ENT
Required Qualifications
- Trauma Level I experience required: 5 years
- CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification in hand to submit
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- State License 1 verification
- Competency exam
- Unit competency exam
- Skills checklist within 12 months of start and annually
- Minimum of 2 references from recent employment
- Employment application must be current and include work history
- Application must account for all gaps of 30 days or more
- Background check required within 90 days of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
- Transcript or diploma required
- Education verification required
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit mask within 12 months of start
- TB questionnaire required
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Rubeola immunity required
- Mumps immunity required
- Rubella immunity required
- Varicella immunity required
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination required
