Unit Details
- Medical oncology progressive care unit with a small med-surg component
- High-acuity PCU setting with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU-level care
- Oncology telemetry unit
- Pediatric patients are extremely rare and pediatric experience is not required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an acute care setting
- 2 years of overall acute care nursing experience
- 1 year of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH
- Must be able to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
- High-acuity PCU patient experience

- Oncology experience
- Previous travel experience

Additional Notes
- Staffing ratios are typically 1:4–5 for med-surg telemetry and 1:3 for PCU
- Weekend shifts are variable

Units are nice, staff are kind. Single patient rooms with 4:1 ratios day and night on med surg.
Cons
Scheduled every weekend, floated for the first 6 weeks of contract every shift. Not traveler friendly even though they say they are. Staff are treated well not travelers.
