Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Sayre, Pennsylvania
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Float role, primarily MS/Tele
• Patient ratio: 1:4–1:8 with team nursing
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call
• Block scheduling not available
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
• Pending license not accepted
• RTO of 5 days or less is preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS

• Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs
• 2 professional references

• Unit-specific skills checklist within 1 year of start
• Physical exam within 90 days of start
• Respirator fit test within 1 year of start
• Respirator clearance before start
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire within 30 days of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, COVID, and flu immunization/documentation requirements
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Background check and fingerprinting requirements
• Education verification
• Photo for badge
• Confidentiality agreement
• Annual training and required RN modules
