Job Details

Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: San Francisco, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (variable shifts including 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend rotation; no on-call
Floating: May be required to float to other campuses within scope of practice when census permits

Job Description

Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in the Emergency Department following unit, department, and hospital policies, evidence-based nursing practices, and standards of care.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by AHA or ARC
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by AHA or ARC
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
