Patient Care Manager

Job Overview

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Assignment length: 18 weeks
Schedule: Day shift with occasional evening or night work as needed; weekends per unit need
Call: Yes
Work setting: May need to float between two hospital locations

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota
BLS
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Manager (3 years of experience)
Manager experience within the last year
Experience in Charge roles
3 years of people leadership experience
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience

Preferred Experience

Informal leadership experience such as charge RN, clinical educator, or preceptor

Role Summary

Manages RN staff and assists in leadership of clinical support staff
Responsible for ensuring the unit’s services and programs are child- and family-focused, clinically appropriate, operationally efficient, and support effective patient outcomes
