Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location: Richmond, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Call: No call required
• Scrubs Provided

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background checks including 7-year history and annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Physical exam within 1 year of start date
• Immunizations and health documentation including:

  • TDAP vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Proof of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, Rubella (for candidates born 1957 or later)
  • Hepatitis B status (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination history
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start date
• Facility-specific documents to review and sign (immunization acknowledgment, safe worker agreement, HIPAA confidentiality statement)
• Annual competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
• Professional references:

  • 2 references for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles
  • 1 reference for per diem non-acute care roles

Additional Notes

• Locals allowed, no radius restriction
• Must have completed at least one prior travel contract (first-time travelers not accepted)
