Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Day shift, 5x8 hours
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, plus one full weekend every 4 weeks
- No call and no holidays
- Patient ratio: 1:25–30 adults and geriatrics
- Local candidates are considered within a 60-mile radius
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Case Management (2 years of experience)
- Case Management experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Acute Hospital Case Management Experience
- Discharge Planning
- Experience with Allscripts
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 1 Trauma experience
Role Responsibilities
- Complete an initial assessment and revisit patients at least every third day
Compliance / Onboarding
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check
- Education verification
- Fingerprinting clearance
- Physical exam
- Fit test for an approved mask
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire
- Drug screen
- Two professional references
- Annual skills checklist
- Flu vaccination, declination, or exemption during flu season
