Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The facility is an 18-bed critical access hospital serving the Big Horn Basin area. The hospital emphasizes high-quality, evidence-based patient care with a small-town, compassionate environment.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Emergency Room experience required.
• Prior travel experience is preferred, but not required.

Certifications (All Required)

• American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications.
• Active Wyoming or Compact nursing license.
• American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support).
• American Heart Association PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Certification.
• Flu vaccination (declinations accepted with proper forms).
• Valid Driver's License.

Compliance & Documentation

• No license issues on Nursys at time of submission.
• Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room discipline.
• Resume must include all facilities, facility size, beds, trauma level, and units worked.
• Must complete required learning modules prior to assignment start.
• Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days and cannot occur during the first week or holidays of the assignment.

Additional Information

• Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date.
• All shifts and departments the candidate is willing to work must be clearly indicated.
• Background checks and compliance requirements are strict and must be attested to.
• Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
• Assignment cancellation requires 7 days written notice without penalty.
