Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC)

Job Description

• Serve as an assessing therapist with a lighter caseload and take on Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities.
• Provide leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) processes.
• Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients.
• Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Attend morning and facility meetings and manage scheduling.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
• Experience in a leadership role within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) rehabilitation setting.
• Knowledge of PDPM.
• Missouri State License for Speech and Language Pathology.
• New graduates are not accepted for this position.

Additional Information

• Orientation: 8 hours New Business Orientation (NBO)
• Productivity expectation: 1.25 Occupational Therapy Hours per Holiday (OT/Hol)
