Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Days)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel.
Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Develop systems to provide care for a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
Certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Additional Information

Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
On-call pay is provided with a minimum of 1 hour.
Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted placement terms.
Non-compete policy applies: former direct employees are not eligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.

This position does not specify a requirement for prior travel experience.
