Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel)

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist in the state of Indiana
Must have active compact license at submission
Required to perform both CT and X-ray procedures
Minimum 2 years hospital setting experience required
BLS certification required
Shifts: 3 night shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
Weekends required with rotating weekends and evening/night call

Department: Radiology
Number of Beds: 278
Staff: 5 Radiologic Technologists
- Day Shift: 3 Rad Techs
- Evening Shift: 2 Rad Techs
Equipment: GE imaging systems
EMR System: Centricity PACS

Required Skills & Certifications

CT and X-ray certification
ARRT Certification
State Radiology Tech License
BLS Certification

Preferred Experience

Surgery experience
Fluoroscopy experience

Typical Procedures

Fluoroscopy
Operating Room (OR) support
Emergency Room (ER)
Outpatient and inpatient imaging

Pros

Very traveler friendly and the ratio was pretty good!

Cons

The absolute biggest roaches everywhere even falling from the ceiling on people. I have heard that administration has really gone downhill as well and if you work the behavioral health unit they will screw you over on staffing since they don’t feel it is as important.
