Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Department

Location: Watertown, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Shifts vary between 7 PM - 7 AM and 11 AM - 11 PM, including weekend rotations.

Requirements

• Licensure: Must have Wisconsin RN or multi-state RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association) are mandatory. TNCC preferred but not required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years recent Emergency Room experience in a hospital setting.
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required.
