Job Description

The Nuclear Med Tech will provide diagnostic aid to physicians by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Responsibilities include:

• Administering and recording isotope dosages in accordance with established departmental protocol.
• Observing patients during procedures and reporting any abnormal activity.
• Planning and accomplishing goals based on experience and judgment.
• Performing a variety of tasks under general supervision, with a degree of creativity and latitude required.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:

  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
  • ARRT Certification
  • New Mexico License
• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Experience: At least 1 year in Nuclear Medicine
• Recommended Experience: Familiarity with Philips Brightspeed
