Employment Details

• Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days (4 – 10 hour shifts with call for CCL)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Unit Information

• Unit: Cath Lab (746)
• Number of Beds: 12 holding bays, 3 CCLs, 2 EPs, 1 hybrid suite
• Unit Staffing: CCL/EP teams include 3 team members (scrub, circulate, monitor)
• Type of Equipment: GE/Philips
• Documentation System: Meditech

Required Skills and Experience

• Must Have:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • 2 years’ experience in an interventional CCL setting with STEMI program, IABP, Impella, closure devices, CSI, Laser atherectomy

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in PRE/PACU area of Cath Lab
  • CCL and CVICU experience
  • TAVR, Mitraclip, WATCHMAN, EP experience
  • MEDITECH experience preferred

Certifications

• Required:

  • ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE (RN, BSN) - temp license will not be accepted

Procedures Performed

• Heart catheterizations
• Biopsy
• Peripheral catheterization
• PPM/ICD/CRT implant

Patient Experience

• AIDET training preferred

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Royal Blue (proof of purchase required)
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails
• Hair: Neat and clean, no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
