- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit Description
- Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) with 16 beds
- High acuity unit providing complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients
- Collaborative multidisciplinary care team focused on optimal patient outcomes
- Safe and comfortable patient environment
Work Schedule
- 36 or 48 hours per week available (36 hours guaranteed)
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays as required by the facility
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
