Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Employment Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Description

Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) with 16 beds
High acuity unit providing complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients
Collaborative multidisciplinary care team focused on optimal patient outcomes
Safe and comfortable patient environment

Work Schedule

36 or 48 hours per week available (36 hours guaranteed)
Every other weekend required
Holidays as required by the facility
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
