Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Hours per Week: 36 (weekly guaranteed)
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / as needed
Call Requirements: As needed

Job Description

• Provide radiologic care and imaging services, including support for operating room cases.
• Work in a facility accredited by the Joint Commission, serving approximately 13,000 patients annually and over 50,000 emergency room visits.
• Facility offers a wide range of surgical services including robotic surgery, spine, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, interventional pain management, interventional cardiology, gynecological, general, oral, urological, eye, and trauma/emergency services.
• Use Meditech electronic health record system.
• Professional dress code required: black scrubs; no casual wear.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in West Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Additional Information

• Position is travel assignment; candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered.
• Orientation occurs biweekly on Wednesdays.
• Float duties as needed.
• Weekend and call coverage as needed.
• Professional demeanor expected.
