RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

• Travel RN role in North Channel FSED.
• 22-bed unit with a 1:4 patient ratio.
• 36 hours per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• CPI
• NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC
• NRP

Unit Details

• Meditech Magic transitioning to Meditech Expanse 8/13
• Typical procedures include IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting
• Floating may be needed to Fairmont FSED

Schedule

• Weekends as needed or every other, depending on preference
• No on-call requirement

Work Environment

• Team-oriented with a patient-experience focus
• Royal blue scrubs and closed-toed shoes required
• No false nails, air pods, or meta glasses
• Stethoscope should be available for assessment
