Job Overview

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Hours per week: 36
Weekend/holiday coverage: Every other weekend with holiday rotations
Call: Required
Floating: Not currently required; may be asked to float to a satellite inpatient rehab facility within 20 minutes in the near future

Required Qualifications

License: Valid LPN/LVN license in Wisconsin
Experience: 2 years of Skilled Nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Clinical background: Inpatient setting experience or Med Surg experience
Certification: BLS
Charting experience: Experience with Epic

Patient Population

Adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high-acuity needs

Unit Notes

The unit functions similarly to a medical-surgical setting at times
Nurses are expected to assist CNAs and respond to call lights for patient safety
