Must meet the 75-mile radius rule based on the address on the traveler’s driver’s license

Staffed with 40
Ratios: 1:5, possibly 1:6 on days and nights
Telemetry is used, with monitoring on a different unit
Floating may include all acute care and cardio for medical patients, or EC for acute care patient holds
Nurse aides/CNAs are available
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Holidays as needed
Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
General orientation: 1 week, including EMR training
Floor-specific orientation: 2 days
