Surgical Tech - OR Tech
Location: Los Angeles, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Seeking an experienced OR Tech for a travel contract position. The role involves working in the Operating Room with exposure to trauma, orthopedic, vascular, and general surgery cases.
Schedule
- Call schedule is variable, approximately 1x per week
- Call hours: 8-hour shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays
- Weekend shifts: one of three 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- Typical 12-hour day shifts on Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon with call required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Tech
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification via NBSTSA
