13-week contract
26-bed inpatient adult behavioral health unit
Patient population primarily 55+ geriatric psychiatric patients, including dementia as a primary diagnosis and bipolar disorder as the second most common diagnosis
Unit nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
12-hour day shifts
Weekend work required at least every third weekend
Holiday shifts required (6 a.m. to 6 p.m., every other weekend)
Orientation week requires clinicians to be in-state, even if some modules are remote

Valid RN license in Utah
Behavioral Health nursing experience of at least 2 years, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

The unit has a seclusion room but is not staffed for 1:1 physical restraint monitoring at this time
No telemetry or monitor techs; RNs do not read telemetry strips on this unit
