Radiology Technologist (XRay Tech)

Location: Bristol, Connecticut
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Rotate with permanent staff
• No call or standby required
• Department has 3 scanners/rooms
• No floating or covering other areas required
• Average scans/studies per day: 60
• Imaging types: General, OR, Fluoroscopy, Portables
• Equipment used: GE, Phillips, Siemens
• PACS/EMR systems: Meditech and Intellispace PACS
• Scrubs not provided; dress code: purple tops, eggplant pants

Required Qualifications

• Connecticut Radiology License
• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification
• COVID-19 vaccination (3 shots)
• 2-3 years of hospital radiology experience
• Comfortable working in the OR with C-arm and fluoroscopy
• At least 1-2 years experience in each imaging modality performed in the department
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required

Orientation & Training

• 1 day HR orientation
• Additional training and shadowing based on individual learning pace

Notes

• Local clinicians may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• No radiologist on-site 24/7
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) on staff
• No IV starts required
