Clinical Staff/Ambulatory Pharmacist
Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Position Summary
- Provide comprehensive patient care through inpatient pharmacy functions such as order entry/verification, medication checking/dispensing.
- May rotate into ambulatory roles including anticoagulation clinic services, oncology, or others as assigned.
- Support a variety of patient populations, from geriatrics to pediatrics.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
Experience
- Recent hospital experience preferred.
- For ambulatory rotations: pharmacy residency experience and advanced practice certifications preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge of current state and federal pharmacy laws.
- Ability to interact positively with pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, nurses, and other health system employees.
License/Certification
- Current license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy or eligibility for reciprocation within 90 days of hire.
- For anticoagulation clinic rotation: Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification meeting American Heart Association standards, with renewal every two years.
Supervision
- Receives minimal supervision from Pharmacy Manager and Supervisors.
- No supervisory responsibilities indicated.
