Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Diagnostic Imaging)

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiographer
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Diagnostic Imaging (higher of 2 years stated and 3 years indicated)
Experience working in an acute hospital setting
Ability to perform routine CT scans independently and follow radiologist protocols

Preferred Experience

Experience with Meditech EMR system
Experience with Canon or Toshiba CT units
Experience with Vitrea workstation
Skills in venipuncture, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging
Experience with procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging

Additional Information

Must have or obtain Hawaii license before assignment start
Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start
Shifts may vary; no on-call required
Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
