Job Opportunity: Surgical Nursing (Contract)

Location: Meeker, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Set up equipment and instruments required for surgical procedures
• Sterilize inventory equipment to maintain supply stock
• Assist in preparing patients for surgery
• Pass instruments and sterile supplies to the surgeon during operations
• Recount surgical supplies and instruments at the end of operations
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Specialty: Nursing (Surgical)
• Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years
• Certifications: BLS/BCLS required
• Prior travel experience: Not required

Additional Information

• Housing available (shared room, no pets, smoking, or family members allowed)
• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 65 miles away from the facility (local candidates not considered)
