Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - 2NT Trauma/ACS Progressive Care
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient setting. This role primarily involves caring for an adult patient population. The position follows the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
- Clinical competence in care and management of patients specific to trauma/ACS progressive care
- Experience with CADD pumps (epidural and nerve block pumps)
Education
- Associate’s degree in nursing (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
Certifications & Licensure
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) participating state
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent
