CT Technologist Travel Position

Location: Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Clinical - Allied - Travel
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Summary

• Operate computed tomography (CT) and related equipment under the direction of a radiologist.
• Perform CT studies following specific guidelines, prescribed protocols, and radiation protection measures.
• Review and archive images with associated patient data.
• Collaborate with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients, and visitors.
• Perform general x-rays, including portable x-rays, supporting Emergency Department (ED), inpatient (IP), and outpatient (OP) appointments.
• Provide full CT support primarily for ED and IP settings; invasive procedures such as biopsies are not included.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year full-time clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Previous CT experience preferred.

Education Requirements

• Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program (post high school) is required.
• 1-2 years of college/university coursework or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology required.
• Current State of Wisconsin Radiographer license required.
• Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent required within 3 months of hire.
