Location: Billings, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable 12-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 36

Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment.
Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy and treatment directly or through delegation and supervision.
Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Utilize resources efficiently.
May float to other departments within competency and qualifications.
May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department (ED) within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as appropriate for the unit or service.
