Job Details

Location: Moreno Valley, California
Employment type: Clinical Nursing Registry
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Hours: 36 per week
Contract length: 52 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (4 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
PALS
CPI
TNCC or ATCN
Experience in an Acute Care setting

Job Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ED
Administer medications and treatments safely and document patient response
Perform ED nursing procedures using appropriate precautions and hospital policy
Communicate changes in patient condition to the care team and use SBAR for handoffs
Educate patients and families and support discharge planning
Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and follow safety, infection control, restraint, transfusion, and emergency response policies
Complete ED-specific orientation and skills checklist requirements
