Job Description

  • Position: Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery
  • Orientation Date: May 20
  • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
  • Shift Requirements:
    • 12-hour night shifts (NOCs)
    • Every third weekend
    • Holiday rotation

Unit Information

  • Bed Size: 36 bed unit
  • Patient Ratios:
    • 1:1 Labor
    • 1:3 Anti-Partum
    • 1:3 Mother-Baby couplets
  • Case Types: Levels 1 through 3

Requirements

  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • Wisconsin RN License
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2+ years as an LDRP RN
    • At least 1 completed travel contract
  • Charting Experience: EPIC
  • Required Skillset:
    • Triage and evaluate patients
    • Circulating in the OR

Additional Information

  • Float Requirements: May be required to float to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and other units as needed.
  • On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
  • Candidate Qualities:

Other Notes

  • Scrub Colors: Any
  • Covid-19 Vaccine: Required unless a medical or religious exemption applies.
  • GSA Hours: Not guaranteed during the week of orientation; guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays when the unit is closed.
  • Floating Policy: Employees should not be asked to work outside of their clinical skills unless approved by the unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency. Candidates may be required to float based on census.
