Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technician (Travel)

Location: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 8-hour days, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• On Call: Rotational on-call approximately 1 day per week, including weekends; additional call shifts optional
• Float: Possible float to other locations within the southern region
• Exams: Average 6-8 exams per day
• Equipment: Philips Epiq Elite ultrasound machines
• Case Types: General, OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, vascular, biopsies, small parts
• Vascular Experience: Peripheral vascular experience (upper and lower venous, lower arterial, carotids) beneficial; unit performs many ABI’s, LE duplex, DVT, venous insufficiency, and carotid exams
• Appearance: Professional scrubs of any color required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year
• Breast Sonographer experience
• OB/GYN Sonographer experience, including fetal heart views in OB ultrasound scans
• Vascular Sonographer experience, including lower extremity venous DVT ultrasound experience
• Fetal Echocardiography experience
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Information

• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (radius rule)
• Weekend and holiday rotation for call as needed
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours; on-call hours count toward these hours
• Call-back pay available if called back to the facility during on-call hours
