EEG Tech (Technician) - Travel Position

Location: Duluth, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Shift: 8-hour day shifts
  • Hours: Guaranteed 32 hours per week (except during holidays and orientation week)
  • Call Requirements:
    • Weekend/holiday call every other weekend
    • Christmas and New Year's call
  • Float: Will remain within main campus
  • Charting System: EPIC required

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in EEG Tech specialty
  • Certifications:
    • BLS Certification (Provider or Healthcare Provider) from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network
    • ABRET certification preferred
  • Skills:
    • Perform inpatient and outpatient EEG
    • May perform EKG as time allows
  • Additional:
    • Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (Radius Rule)
    • Scrub colors: Green or Light Blue (can be provided)

Policies

  • During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times per facility policy. Non-compliance may result in corrective action.

Notes

  • Contract eligible for up to 36 hours during low census weeks
  • GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week
