Physical Therapist Travel Position

Location: Wild Rose, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 7 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 8-hour day shift, Monday-Friday (4x10 hour shifts may be considered)
Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed
Weekends: None
Holidays: As needed
Call: None
Float: Within facility and to other system facilities as needed, within skillset

Job Description

• Combination of inpatient, swing bed, and outpatient services
• Mainly outpatient caseload with some inpatient coverage possible
• Outpatient treatments typically 30 minutes; evaluations 60 minutes
• Inpatient treatments usually scheduled in 2-hour blocks, managing 2-4 inpatients
• Patient load approximately 10-12 patients per day (higher if 10-hour shifts approved)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Physical Therapist experience OR new graduates are considered
• Must have completed at least one prior travel contract (no new travelers)
• Wisconsin Physical Therapist license required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience with EPIC charting system required

Additional Information

• 8-hour unbillable orientation included
• No travelers currently working within 50 miles of the corporate center are eligible
• Billing week runs Sunday through Saturday
• Guaranteed hours per week except during holidays when unit may be closed
