Job Details

• Fast-paced Emergency Room environment
• Patient Ratios: 1:8+
• Unit: Emergency Room
• Shift Length: 11.5 hours
• Weekly Hours: Choice of 34.5 or 46 hours
• Call Requirement: None
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: Yes, to areas within acuity
• COVID-19 Vaccination Required (medical declination upon approval)
• Dress Code: Navy bottom with white top and dark shoes, or all white with white shoes

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last 3 years, including at least 1 year within the last year
• One completed travel nursing assignment
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients in a Level 1 Trauma setting
• Experience in a high-acuity ER I specialty environment
• Willingness to float to appropriate units based on skillset
• COVID vaccinated prior to start date
• Travel experience or local NYC experience required
