OR Nurse - Bridgeport, Connecticut

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in OR nursing (specialty)
• Level 1 trauma center experience
• Experience with cases including:

  • OR Trauma
  • Orthopedics (specializing in total knee replacements, total hips anterior and posterior approach)
  • Spine
  • Neuro (including cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy)
• Required experience in:

  • General Surgery
  • Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho)
  • Urology
  • ENT
  • Neuro
  • Plastics (including abdominoplasty and breast augmentation)
  • Gynecology (GYN)
• Preferred:

  • Previous travel experience
  • Experience with EPIC, Surgicount, and TECSYS systems

Note: Prior travel experience is preferred but not explicitly required.

Shift Details

• 40 hours per week
• Primary shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Approximately 30% of shifts from 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM based on department needs
• Occasional weekend work

Call Schedule

• 6 weekday calls and 6 weekend calls every 6 weeks
