Job Summary

Provide specialized nursing care for newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level II. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, medication administration, respiratory support, and family education.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of newborns, monitoring vital signs, respiratory status, feeding tolerance, and overall clinical stability.
• Administer medications, manage IV access, and support respiratory therapies.
• Utilize neonatal monitoring equipment and respond promptly to alarms and emergent situations.
• Educate and support families on infant care and developmental needs.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and communications in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust individualized care plans.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
