Assignment Details

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: NOC
• Start dates: Every Monday
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Local travelers are not accepted within a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Stepdown (1.5 years of experience)
• Stepdown experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• CCRN preferred

Clinical Setting

• 12-bed, 24-hour observation unit supporting heart and vascular service line patients
• Fast-paced unit with high patient turnover and a wide variety of cardiovascular diagnoses
• Patients may include low-acuity critical care patients awaiting placement, same-day procedure patients needing extended monitoring, and select cardiovascular ICU/stepdown overflow

Clinical Skills / Patient Care

• Must be able to manage PA lines / PA catheters
• Unit may accommodate LVADs, 2–4 drips, and arterial lines
• Rare vents may be encountered
• No IABP, Impella, ventilators, or CRRT accepted on the unit

• Rhythm identification test is required after start; two attempts are allowed and the test is not multiple choice
