Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other assigned supervisor. The LPN collects data through observation and communicates information to assist the RN and/or provider in patient assessment and care planning. The LPN participates as a member of the healthcare team and delivers care according to the patient care plan, organizational policies, and principles of relationship-based care. Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and instruct are essential. The LPN may also participate in committees or quality improvement projects.

Approximately 14 weeks
Required Qualifications
Education
- Graduation from a practical nursing school.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience within the last year.
- Experience in Long Term Care.
Certifications & Licensure
- Valid LPN/LVN license in Minnesota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Additional Information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- The role involves working under delegation from an RN or assigned supervisor.
