Clinical Lab Technologist

Location

Rochester, Minnesota

Contract Length

1 year

Schedule

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Every other Wednesday: 9:00 PM–5:30 AM

Required Qualifications

Medical Technologist experience within the last year
Medical Technologist with 1 year of experience
Medical Lab Technologist experience
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a biological science

Preferred Experience

Experience operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation and assay systems

Job Responsibilities

Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to support diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment
Operate and maintain instruments, troubleshoot assays, evaluate test accuracy, and assist with interpreting results
Support laboratory operations to maintain and optimize testing capabilities
Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results
May assist with specimen collection
Follow safety protocols when working with infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards
