Respiratory Care Practitioner

Location

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract

26 weeks
12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Role Summary

Provides respiratory therapy services under general supervision for patients of all appropriate age levels
Administers prescribed therapeutic treatments
Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and patient monitoring
Serves as a resource to medical staff
Cleans and maintains respiratory equipment
Maintains respiratory therapy records
Participates in the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year

Experience

None required

Preferred

Two years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting
Previous work in a children’s-only hospital
