Respiratory Care Practitioner

Location

  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract

  • 26 weeks
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week
  • Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Role Summary

  • Provides respiratory therapy services under general supervision for patients of all appropriate age levels
  • Administers prescribed therapeutic treatments
  • Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and patient monitoring
  • Serves as a resource to medical staff
  • Cleans and maintains respiratory equipment
  • Maintains respiratory therapy records
  • Participates in the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year

Experience

  • None required

Preferred

  • Two years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting
  • Previous work in a children’s-only hospital
