Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiation Therapist license in Oklahoma
  • Radiation Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate's degree or higher

Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics
  • Ability to work as part of a team, follow instructions, and report to work as scheduled
  • Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and staff
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, work with names, numbers, and codes, and handle confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to multitask, remain calm under stress, work with minimal supervision, and pay close attention to detail

Role Summary

  • Entry-level role under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor
  • Supports diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures for adult and/or pediatric patients
  • Prepares patients, performs post-procedure review, transfers images and data, and completes quality control and equipment maintenance tasks
  • Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research activities
