Schedule

• 4x10 shifts
• On-call coverage on nights and weekends, approximately 8–10 shifts per month

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
• Completion of a post-secondary educational program in health science such as cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association upon hire
• ACLS certification
• Knowledge and skill in medical imaging, patient positioning, and medical ethics
• Core knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to specialty imaging procedures
• Ability to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation
• Knowledge of sterile fields and safe patient care practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and standards
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, remain calm under stress, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes
• ARRT(RT), RCES, or RCIS certification within 18 months of hire

Role Highlights

• Assists physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
• Supports procedures such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management
• Works in a scrub tech role during procedures
• May assist with teaching, precepting, and onboarding team members
• No travel or trauma required
