This role provides comprehensive mental health assessments, counseling, treatment planning, and crisis intervention services for the inmate population while maintaining professional standards, ethical conduct, and strict confidentiality.</p><p>The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform all duties efficiently while meeting institutional performance expectations and maintaining compliance with correctional healthcare policies.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul>	<li>Conduct mental health screenings and clinical assessments through review of records, interviews, and behavioral observations.</li>	<li>Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, diagnosis, and level of functioning.</li>	<li>Provide therapeutic counseling services and behavioral interventions to assigned caseload.</li>	<li>Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.</li>	<li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the healthcare record.</li>	<li>Monitor inmate progress and adjust treatment interventions accordingly.</li>	<li>Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with professional and institutional standards.</li>	<li>Apply psychological counseling theories and evidence-based treatment techniques.</li>	<li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare and correctional staff to support patient care.</li>	<li>Promote a safe, therapeutic, and structured clinical environment.</li></ul><h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3><ul>	<li>Minimum <strong>five (5) years of clinical mental health experience</strong>.</li>	<li>At least <strong>two (2) years of experience in a comparable mental health coordinator or clinical counseling role</strong>.</li>	<li>Demonstrated experience performing mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention.</li>	<li>Strong clinical documentation and case management skills.</li>	<li>Ability to work effectively within a correctional or secure environment.</li></ul><h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3><ul>	<li>Experience working in <strong>correctional, forensic, or institutional behavioral health settings</strong>.</li>	<li>Experience managing diverse or high-acuity behavioral health caseloads.</li>	<li>Familiarity with crisis management and behavioral stabilization techniques.</li></ul><h3><strong>Core Competencies</strong></h3><ul>	<li>Clinical assessment and treatment planning</li>	<li>Crisis intervention and de-escalation</li>	<li>Professional ethics and confidentiality</li>	<li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills</li>	<li>Documentation accuracy and time management</li>	<li>Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams</li></ul>
