Schedule

Day shifts
10 hours per day
40 hours per week
Call required 1 time per week
Weekend rotation every other or every third weekend
Call response time: 30 minutes

Unit Details

General surgery operating room
14 suites for general surgery, 28 total
Average daily case volume: 20–40 for general surgery
May float to other surgery teams or SPD if qualified

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
OR - Operating Room experience
Urology experience
OB/GYN experience
ENT Surgery experience
Experience with Epic

Additional Information

Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
Hospital-provided scrubs
Non-billable orientation: 12 hours
Unit-specific orientation may be up to 1 week
EPIC experience required
