Overview

• 13-week assignment in Garden City, Kansas
• 36 hours per week
• Day shift
• 12 hours per day

Department

• Radiology - U/S -SCG
• 4 scanners/rooms

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• ARDMS
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) via ARDMS
• All general ultrasound, OB, and vascular experience

Preferred

• Echo experience

Schedule

• Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Monday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Open to 4 x 10-hour days, Friday through Monday
• No self-scheduling

Call / Coverage

• On call after 9:00 PM and on weekends
• Weekend requirement: on call only
• Holiday requirement: on call only
• May float within zone 4 if there is an extreme need

Clinical Duties

• All ultrasound, including vascular, OB in all three trimesters, and procedures

Additional Notes

• Must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote
• Driver’s license must be submitted
• Radius: 60 miles
• No RRA use
• Does not start IVs
• Uses EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS
• Department has 4 Toshiba ultrasound units, with 2 new Phillips units planned
• Radiologist in-house three days per week
