Pediatric ICU (PICU) Registered Nurse - Travel Assignment

Location: Bronx, New York

Job Details

Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Unit Size: 26 beds
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shifts: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (EOW)
Holiday Requirements: Yes
Orientation: Unit/Department specific orientation provided
Work Environment: Pediatric teaching hospital near NYC
Patient Population: Critically ill or surgical pediatric patients

Required Qualifications

License: New York State RN license
Experience: Minimum 2 years PICU nursing experience
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Other Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Previous travel experience required
- Academic hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

Traveler friendly assignment with frequent opportunities to extend
