Job Details

• Facility Type: Level 1 Teaching Facility / Level 1 Trauma Center / Academic Medical Center (preferred experience)
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (7A-7P, 7P-7A, 7A-3:30P, or PRN)
• Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (12-hour night shifts available)
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, alternating weekends
• Holiday Requirement: Negotiable
• Call Requirement: Yes, on-call required
• Floating: May be required to float between CT locations within the facility

Required Qualifications

• Registered in CT and in good standing with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Licensure as a Medical Radiation Technologist (MSRT) in Mississippi
• Proficiency in scanning on Siemens Definition DS/DE, Siemens Definition AS, and GE VCT equipment
• Experience in computed tomography (CT) required
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center and academic medical center setting is a plus

Additional Information

• Fingerprint background check required (can be completed remotely or in person prior to assignment)
• Work within a 50-mile radius rule
• Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department (ED) cases

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Prior Travel Experience

• Not explicitly required

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with strong CT scanning skills, ARRT registration, and BLS certification, who are comfortable working in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma and teaching hospital environment with rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities.
