Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel Assignment)
Location: Nampa, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Schedule Details:
- No call, no weekend, no holiday requirements
- Alternating days off (either Tuesday or Thursday)
- May occasionally float to Meridian and Boise IR departments (rare)
Required Experience & Certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience (neuro experience not required)
- Prior travel experience preferred (not required)
- Certifications:
- BLS Certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) or RCIS IR certification
Job Details
- Department: Interventional Radiology
- Average cases per day: 7-8
- Team setup: 1 tech scrubbed in, 1 tech circulating, 1 tech in control room
- Common procedures: General body tube placements, line placements, stents, drains, Y-90s, IVIS
- Equipment/EMR:
- Epic EMR
- PACS: McKesson
- Philips FD 20 imaging equipment
- Interventionalist coverage: 1 Interventional Radiologist and 1-2 PAs on site during working hours
- Manager/Charge Nurse present on each shift
Orientation & Additional Notes
- Orientation: 3 days to 1 week of unit/department-specific orientation
- Dress code: Scrubs provided
- Work environment: Supportive team with great Interventional Radiologists and nursing staff
This position is ideal for an experienced IR tech looking for a well-structured travel assignment with no call or weekend work.
