Job Description

Seeking an experienced RN for Skilled Nursing units. The candidate must have:

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• CPR Certification

The role may require floating to other inpatient units based on census. Scheduling includes rotating weekday and weekend shifts with a 0.9 FTE day shift (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice acts.
• Document care according to standards.
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy, including patient and family education.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, potentially including shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
• Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• CPR Certification
