Registered Nurse (Float: ICU / Emergency / Medical-Surgical)

Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

12-hour night shifts primarily, with flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Daily reporting to House Supervisor for unit assignment.
Occasional floating to other departments where qualified, which may include taking a patient load or performing task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones.
Orientation is held on Mondays only; missing the compliance deadline will delay start to the following Monday.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
Experience in Emergency Department (ED)
Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Certifications required:
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC

Additional Information

Must be flexible to work in various units as assigned.
